Peel the Apple is a Japanese girl group. Peel the Apple (ピール・ジ・アップル), also known as Piruapo (ぴるあぽ) or PtA (ピーティーエー). The Japanese girl group was formed on July 16, 2020. The group consists of 8 members: Matsumura Mizuki, Yamazaki Reina, Sano Kokone, Asahara Rin, Kurosaki Nanako, Tajima Sakurako, Harumi Rio, and Odagaki Arisa. The former member of the group was named Tsutsumi Mone. The consists of unsuccessful 26-ji no Masquerade finalists. The name comes from “apple peel” with a concept of members being seen as unworthy of being idols, but this group gives them a chance to shine as they’re useful. They officially debuted on October 13, 2021, with the mini-album Yuukan JUMP! (勇敢JUMP!).
