She was born in Jeungpyeong, North Chungcheong Province, South Korea.

She started her Schooling at Jeungpyeong Elementary School and Jeungpyeong Girls’ Middle School. She completed her high school at  Daeseong Girls’ Commercial High School and graduated from Dankook University.
